2. Include a very strong action call after your first paragraph and again at the end of the email. This allows folk to click on a link without reading the whole thing. And make it very strong. EG: Click this now to learn how you can save money.

3. Send a minimum of one email every month. Customers like to engage with other people and brands they trust. And trust is earned by demonstrating consistency of behaviour. So be consistent with your email newsletters.

The most usual mistake newbies make is commencing with a big flurry of activity and then not following up. You will see the benefits if you keep your emails consistent.

Hence the first thing you need to do now is write down a note of one thing you want to share with your e-mail list and make some time in your calendar to put these tricks into practice.
